New Barn Foundation Programs
The New Barn Foundation (NBF) is a not-for-profit entity dedicated to improving the well being of Massachusetts’s communities and its citizens. NBF main areas of focus include the following:
>> New Barn Foundation creates and encourages volunteer activities and opportunities by which Massachusetts business can guide their organization and employees into meaningful
community service roles. NBF has a particular emphasis on volunteerism in businesses in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry and associated claims service organizations.
>> New Barn Foundation endeavors to foster higher rates of participation rates in community service activities in Massachusetts through educational and other events, and by creating greater public awareness of the benefits of community service.
>> New Barn Foundation makes limited grants and contributions to qualified charitable and social service organizations with which it also engages in volunteer support. NBF distributes such grants to qualified 501(c) 3 organizations that are engaged in community service activities in support of the NBF mission.
