Make a Difference in the Life of a Teenager this Summer!
Remember what it was like to be in high school? Make a difference in the life of teens this summer through the MLK Summer Scholars program, sponsored by John Hancock Financial Services, The Boston Globe, Partners Healthcare, and Boston University. The Program will provide over 500 teenagers with on-the-job training in addition to weekly skill-based workshops.
We Need YOU!
Volunteer Mentors are needed to support the workshop sessions, and are asked to make a commitment in one of the following ways (in order to create community, build relationships with student participants, and offer consistency to the students' experience):
- Volunteer at the first 3 sessions (July 10, July 17 & July 24)
- Volunteer at the second 3 sessions (July 31, August 7 & August 14)
- Volunteer at all 6 sessions (July 10 - August 14)
